Innovative sessions that merge physical warm up, isometric exercise and technical drills like ball mastery, shooting drills and passing drills.The typical session is enriched with fitness elements, stretching and mental coaching that is a fundamental backbone of young and older players.Each session is designed to suit the player himself, focusing on polishing the strengths and improving less advanced skills of the player. I played on international level in my youth. After finishing my playing career, I began my coaching career gaining FA & UEFA coaching qualifications. I have been a coach within professional academies at Charlton Athletic FC & Fulham FC-developing players. I also have experience of coaching adult players. I work with all ages and all abilities, from beginners to professionals. I helped players to get into academy of Chelsea FC, QPR, Woking FC and Aldershot FC.
Session plans are bespoke and tailored towards the clients’ needs on an individual basis. All sessions will follow an established and proven formula of improving the players mental agility / speed / toughness, and technical / tactical adaptivity.
Over 12 year’s experience coaching boys and girls from the ages of 3 to 21 years old. Currently coaching and fourth season at Port Vale FC Academy. Previous roles include coaching at development centres for both Burton Albion FC and Derby County FC, Gresley Rovers FC as well Brazilian Soccer Schools and various grassroots football teams. In addition has coached football overseas in the USA on the West coast for 6 months with UKIS in variety of roles. Currently on the AYA (Advanced Youth Award), Level 4 FA Coaching award.
The 1 to 1 sessions are holistic and tailored to suit the individual needs and requirements of the player. Each session will cover a core theme/topic, is challenging, progressive and fun, along with the aim to develop and improve the player’s ability. Sessions will look to cover the 5 corners which are: Technical, Tactical, Physical, Social and Psychological. Lastly, I believe it is important to build a coach to player relationship, with developing the person as well as their football skills.
