Coaching Experience
Experienced UEFA A licence coach for over 25 years. Formerly with Manchester United, Burnley, Southampton and Barnet. Experience of coaching players of all abilities and backgrounds, including academy, semi professional, professional players both men and women. This includes players now playing in the EFL and Premier League. Specialising in Position Specific Individual Development for all players performing in all formats of football from 5v5 – 11v11.
Session Plan
Session Principles To educate all players in their own chosen playing position on the pitch. I focus on the principles of In Possession, Transition, & Out of Possession within the tactical elements of game in the session. Sessions always begin with an ‘Ice Breaker’ warm up. I then like to engage all learners with the appropriate knowledge based on the players’ playing level. So, adapting to the players’ needs. My sessions are thinking sessions that challenge all players in my care.
