There are more than 300 junior grassroots football leagues affiliated with each of the main football governing bodies in the UK – the English FA, FA Wales, the Scottish FA and the Irish FA. The leagues below offer opportunities for boys and girls junior grassroots football between the ages of Under 7 – Under 16. After the age of 16, grassroots leagues become ‘open age’.
